Sonatex originated in France back in 1971. The Canadian division was created in 1984 to provide laminated goods to the local footwear industry. With the footwear market slowly disappearing in Canada, Sonatex changed its approach to include the conversion and fabrication of our laminated goods.

Our main strength is in the constant development of new materials and technologies to meet our customers needs. We excel in the moulding of foams to rigid materials such as ABS Vinyl and Kydex. With equipment and materials in a constant state of development, we investigate, test and adapt those of interest to the requirements of our customer base. We continually seek through innovation to reduce cost and improve both the technical capabilities and appearance of our product. In conjunction with our in-house testing, we use independently certified labs to ensure our customer standards are being maintained.
